I have added 18 pages to the Funny Email Forwards page. Due to the large number of pages I've added, I've put them in the table below instead of listing them the way I usually do:
1500s Facts(?) Bible Jokes Dangerous Stuttering Dear Tide Definitions Deputy Wife
Designated Decoy Don't Shout God Destroys Earth Indian Ingenuity Lightbulbs Lying Politicians
Minister Cometh Plant the Wheat Real Sherlock Safe Driver Award Valuable Art Which Tire?

I have added information to the Child Sponsorship Page. It now has a little information about each of the charities and links to more information instead of just links to the organization homepages. Also, I made a brand new page where you can listen to the Bass Songs that I recorded using my electric bass guitar back in the 1990s.

After not many updates for a while, I finally have some. I got my 2008 Expenses and 2008 Gas purchases up today on the Miscellaneous Page. Also, I added Correct Email, Dog Fight?, Engineer and Manager, Expert Salesman, Farmer Brown, Lincoln's Donkey, Speeding Excuse, and Shrimp Shells to the Best of Forwards page.

For almost as long as I have had this site, I have provided links to child sponsorship organizations. The organization I currently sponsor through, Children International, has been encouraging its sponsors to help spread the word about child sponsorship through pages made from their template. Here is the page I have made using the template: http://www.liftoneproject.org/goto/karlagabriela. A new window will open. Please take a look and consider sponsoring a child.

I added a new page to the Christian Writings page. The new page is about what it will be like in Heaven. I also edited the Creation and Logic pages there on the Christian Writings page. I spent several weeks discussing the content of these pages with Pat Goltz, a co-founder of the group Feminists for Life, when I submitted my Abortion Page to her Right to Life WebRing, and some of my changes were made as a result of those discussions.

I added links to my 2007 Expenses and 2007 Gas purchases today on the Miscellaneous Page.

Eight new pages were added to the Insightful and Touching Stories page today. They are 57 Cents, The Ant and Grasshopper, The Baseball Game, The Cornfield, The King's Highway, The Pretty One, The Scorpion, and What Goes Around Comes Around. The Ant and Grasshopper was also added to the Best of Forwards page along with Plants. Enjoy.

The little boy I mentioned in my last update is doing much better now. He's gone home from the hospital. I'm sure the family would still appreciate your prayers.

I've got several updates today. I've added Brick, Cracked Pot, How the Poor Live, In God We Trust, and Take the Son to the Insightful and Touching Stories page. I've also added Clever Dog, Water Walk, and Why Computers Crash to the Best of Forwards page. Both pages have a link to a Call From God because it has both a serious and humorous message. I hope you'll check all these out.

The first thing I want to mention on this update is a worthy cause to pray for. I've been following the story of a young couple whose baby was badly injured from being shaken by a babysitter. His mother's myspace page and a support page for the little guy should have all the information you would need to know about this unfortunate situation. Please check it out.

I do also have updates. I've added Divorced Barbie and GM vs. Microsoft to the Best of Forwards page. These are the funny ones. I've also added Homeschooled and Last Request to the Insightful and Touching Stores page. Enjoy.

I added new pages to the Insightful and Touching Stories Page today. I added Doll, Pickle Jar, The Room, and Who God Used. I also added some new Pictures of Me. They're all from church. I've been spending a lot of time there lately.
March 1, 2007
I added four more new pages to the Insightful and Touching Stories Page today. I added Chalk, God's Smell, Jimmy's Letter, and Miracle. Enjoy. I also updated the Songs Page and My Room Page to my new page format.
February 10, 2007
I added four new pages to the Insightful and Touching Stories Page today. I added God's Letter to You, Speeding, An Abortion Story, and The Big Wheel. The abortion story is also cross-referenced on my main Abortion Page. I deviated slightly from my usual lack of images on the God's Letter page. I wanted to include the graphic. I do apologize though for the grammatical error on it.
February 8, 2007
I added some pictures to the Pictures Page. There's a picture of me in my Mountain Dew shirt and a picture of me with my friend Elisha (who happens to love Mountain Dew). I also added some new songs to the Songs Page. I think I could be a good singer if I got lessons, but I try anyway. If you have a listen, please let me know what you think.

I added two new pages today. They are my 2006 Expenses and 2006 Gas Purchases Log. I share these not to show off how I spent my money but to show off that I kept track of it. I am an accountant, after all. So you don't think I'm showing off how I spent my money, I'll be right upfront: I live with my mom, so it's easy to spend it like this.

I also updated my Preferred Musical Artists Page to reflect my more recent preferences.

September 17, 2006
There are two things today. First of all, I added an all-new page. It has some of my Dreams listed. I know that might seem sort of random, but I already do have a page for Fictional Stories, and what are dreams but the fictional stories I write while I'm asleep? Anyway, the other thing is another song from Vacation Bible School. I decided that I now like the song "God Looks on the Heart".

I updated the Best of Forwards page today. I added Kids in Church, Modern Noah, Question Game, and Soap Opera. These are the funny ones. Enjoy.

I came up with an idea that whenever you have a bad thought, you should imagine Jesus entering into the scene you're imaginging. So I tried it, but I was shocked by what my mind seemed to produce automatically. Jesus entered the scene in my mind, but He wasn't just hanging out. He was hanging on the cross, and He spoke. He said, "Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do." Now, I've never heard a preacher say this, but this seemingly automatic way that Christ entered my mind made me think that maybe He wasn't really talking about those who were executing Him as much when He said that as He was talking about every person who's ever sinned or ever will sin in thought or in action. That is what really killed Him after all...

I went to church. The sermon was about God's promise of strength for daily living. The main verses the message was based on were Phillipians 4:10-13. While we know that in a way, we should never be content (we sell ourselves short if we become complacent; we should always be longing to have a closer relationship with God and eager to do more good for others in name of Jesus Christ), Christians at the same time do have a contentment so long as they hold to Christ for everything. Knowing that nothing can separate us from the love of God gives us the ability to not be discontented by our circumstances. I am reminded of Romans 8:38-39.

Our opportunity to draw closer to God and do good for others is a privilege. The sort of discontentment that motivates us to not miss this opportunity is different from discontentment that results from negative circumstances. It is a source of joy because though we were the lowest of the low, God has chosen us to be His children and called us to be involved in His holy work (Ephesians 2:10).
