Do you know the old saying, "you can't miss what you never had"? The kid won't miss his/her lost life because s/he has experienced nothing worth missing.

The same could be said for a newborn. When I am sleeping or unconscious, I could not miss what I had. That does not change the law's or majority's viewpoint on murdering a sleeping or unconscious person. It's not right to make a decision to take the life of innocents based on their current condition. If the Powerpuff girls were going to grow fingers at puberty, it would be like if the professor, knowing this, told them currently that they could not have class rings in high school based on their current lack of fingers.
