I wrote this poem in the 7th grade. I do believe I wrote it primarily in literature class. I really just threw together a bunch of words and rhymed them.

A Pledge of Alligence to a chorus of elephants,
All chewing tobacco,
Big and tall or short and small,
All in all, hey there's Paul!

As I said, we're all dead
With decaying skulls, skin, and organs.
Give me my brain. Will it look the same
If it were lying in the backyard for a million years in a cold dark rain?

Time to slay the weakened souls
With hands and feet in cups and bowls.
So what if it's stupid?
So whatever if it's gone?

Go ahead, eat that burrito,
Drown that mole in a puddle of marmalade.
Gargle the pumpkin juice,
Freeze the blade.
